Amulet Fairs returns to the Shrophsire & West Midlands 55 acre Showground later in 2012 with our October 6th – 7th weekend show. This year Outdoor stallholders have the opportunity to set up their stalls at the two-day event on Thursday at a reduced weekend rate of £50 for Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

Amulet Fairs has secured dates for a third weekend at Oswestry in 2012 when it opens doors for the winter season on November 17th and 18th.

Interest in Oswestry this year is beating expectations. In addition to the new event, we are getting very positive feedback on our innovative offer for outside pitches.

Our “Thursday” offer gives Outdoor stallholders the opportunity to set up their stalls at the two-day events in Oswestry and Shrewsbury on Thursdays at a reduced weekend rate of £50. See our booking form for more.

BBC television show Bargain Hunt is scheduled to film at Oswestry on 9th and 10th June.

Deeside Renovations Completed

Extensive refurbishments and renovations at Deeside Leisure Centre are now completed, making this venue one of the best equipped in North Wales. The centre boasts an Olympic-sized ice rink and the new Evolution Extreme Centre, which includes a large indoor skate park and a range of ramps and jumps for BMX riders, skateboarders, inline skaters and more.

Deeside Leisure Centre also has a new state of the art gym, spa, sauna, and steam room.

The centre hosts events from childrens parties to major events like Amulet Fairs’ monthly shows.

Amulet Fairs is now opening on Thursdays for Outdoor stallholders to set up their stalls at the two-day events in Oswestry and Shrewsbury.

This option of arriving on the Thursday and setting up your Outdoor stall will be offered to you at a reduced weekend rate of £50 for Oswestry and Shrewsbury!!

The dates for the two day events 2012 are as follows:

Oswestry Showground – 9th & 10th June, 8th & 9th September

Shropshire Agricultural Showground – 12th & 13th May

“Celebrity” Hunt at Oswestry

BBC TV’s Bargain Hunt joined Amulet Fairs’ autumn weekend at Oswestry when the Park Hall Showground opened for Amulet’s weekend show on September 10th.

In addition to the usual weekend of filming, Bargain Hunt’s presenter Tom Wonnacott played host to four celebrities on Sunday to shoot an episode of “Celebrity Bargain Hunt”.

Amulet Fairs’ Oswestry show is a regular crowd puller. Traders from the UK and as far away as the south of France set up shop for the weekend at Oswestry Showground.

The episodes will be broadcast on BBC1 on:

Friday 7th October, Friday 11th November and Wednesday 23rd November at 12:15pm!!

Bargain Hunt, BBC Television’s popular lunchtime antique show, pits two teams of amateur collectors against each other. Each team has an hour and £300 to acquire the best bargains at an antiques fair. Tim Wonnacott calculates the ups and downs when their purchases are sold at auction. Bargain Hunt regularly films at Amulet’s Oswestry and Shrewsbury events. This is the first time celebrities have been brought to the Oswestry show.

Amulet Fairs returns to its familiar surroundings on Saturday June 11th for the first of its two weekend fairs at Oswestry Showground.

Oswestry has been a popular fixture for traders and customers alike. This year, following the success of the two day format, Amulet Fairs kicked off a hectic summer season with a two day event in May at Shrewsbury.

Business is brisk at Amulet Fairs’ back office, and demand for indoor space at our forthcoming event at Shrewsbury has meant that, with the Berwick Pavillion at The Agricultural Showground already allotted its full complement of spaces, Amulet Fairs has increased capacity and arranged two more marquees.
